For  a decade, politicians, bureaucrats, regulators and other useless parasites gravitating around them, boosted up costs of Oil & Gas exploration and Production to  unimaginable levels, by flooding the Industry with rules and regulations to the point of having to spend hours filling endless forms and get them signed before the simplest half an hour job could be carried out;

Then, after the Industry got interplanetary numbers invested in technology in order to keep pumping wealth out of the deepest depths and concomitantly meet the stream of written high priced non-sense bullshit, the politicians and financial opportunists got together just to promote a swift worldwide move towards Oil & Gas Industry bankruptcy.

Oilfield is presently nothing but a wreckage, from where so many swim frantically in extremely rough weather, struggling for survival.
